Job DescriptionDo you bring out the star in your students? Our motto here at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart", and we are looking for private music instructors who share the same philosophy. We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable because we believe music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Guitar. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Miami, FL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. While webcam lessons exist, they make up only a small percentage of our student base.
Most students still prefer in-person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or travel to students in the Miami, FL area.
You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, as well as your own curriculum/lesson plans. We handle advertising, marketing, and SEO to bring students in and manage billing so you can focus on the music.

- Host students or travel to students; assist with basic setup as needed.
- Maintain communication with our office and with students; ensure timely attendance.

- Great with kids, loves teaching, is organized and punctual.
Some students are comfortable with webcam lessons; most prefer in-person. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
