Job Summary
The Title I Coordinator plans, implements, and oversees Title I programs to ensure equitable educational services for eligible students in private schools, in compliance with district regulations. The position supports academic achievement through effective program design, fiscal oversight, staffing coordination, and collaboration with school leaders. The coordinator also supports staffing decisions that align with individual school needs, mission, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate Title I programs for eligible private school students.
Ensure Title I services align with instructional priorities and student academic needs.
Coordinate instructional supports, interventions, and supplemental services funded through Title I.
Private School Coordination
Conduct timely and meaningful consultation with officials of participating private schools
Assess private school student needs and assist in designing Title I services
Coordinate delivery of services, materials, and staffing for private school Title I programs
Maintain required private school documentation, including consultation records and service plans
Professional Development Support
Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing professional development for Title I–funded staff and teachers.
Collaborate with school leaders to identify professional learning needs aligned with instructional priorities, student data, and Title I program goals.
Support the development and delivery of training focused on effective instructional strategies, interventions, compliance requirements, and best practices for serving eligible students.
Monitor participation in professional development activities and maintain required documentation.
Support ongoing coaching, feedback, and capacity-building to strengthen instructional quality and program effectiveness.
Staffing & Human Capital Support
Collaborate with school leaders to identify staffing needs that support instructional goals and student populations
Assist in recruiting, selecting, and assigning Title I-funded staff (teachers, interventionists, paraprofessionals, tutors)
Ensure staffing decisions align with each school’s culture, mission, and community values
Verify staff qualifications and ensure compliance with Title I personnel requirements
Support onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision of Title I staff
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with the district
Develop, review, and maintain program documentation (plans, inventories, teacher sign in sheets, evaluations)
