The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking applications for multiple Postdoctoral Associate positions in fields of study relevant to biological sciences, including ecology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, marine sciences, and other biological-relevant areas. The Department supports interdisciplinary research, active learning, and innovation in research and teaching.

The primary responsibilities of a Postdoctoral Associate vary depending on the project and the individual's interests but may include:

• Conducting research with faculty mentors
• Interacting with graduate students
• Submitting competitive research proposals
• Participating in outreach efforts
• Teaching formal courses, if desired

Candidates for the Postdoctoral Associate positions should have completed their PhD in a field related to biological sciences with significant interest in developing research expertise in a selected area.
