Our client is seeking a compassionate and student-centered professional to join their team as a Student Support Officer. This individual will play a key role in supporting scholarship recipients through proactive outreach, emergency aid coordination, and wrap-around student support services. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly organized, and passionate about helping students navigate challenges while remaining on track toward academic success.

Student Support Officer Job Qualities

Student Support Officer Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with college students, student support services, scholarship programs, or education-focused nonprofit organizations
  • Experience supporting underserved or diverse student populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including phone, email, and virtual meeting communication
  • Experience tracking student progress, follow-ups, outcomes, or program-related data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and student touchpoints simultaneously
  • Familiarity with community resources and wrap-around support services preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
