St. John Neumann Catholic School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida is seeking a full-time qualified Primary Education Teacher for the 2026-27 academic school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, design, organize, and implement instruction for primary education students that will motivate and engage all learners. The applicant must be a qualified and dynamic educator that will cultivate a classroom culture that fosters critical thinking skills while implementing cross-curricular units.

The Primary education teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and St. John Neumann School. S alary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree in Primary or Elementary Education; master's degree preferred.
• Florida Department of Education Teacher Certification in Primary or Elementary Education; temporary or professional required.
• Minimum of 2 years' related experience, including elementary education teaching experience.
• Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills, excellent attendance ethics, and high level of professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability with technology skills needed for digital grade books and digital lessons.
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Forms is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church and able to integrate the Catholic worldview with the subject area.
• Must have a professional demeanor and demonstrate positive teamwork practices within the professional environment.
