Position Overview
The Adjunct Faculty member provides instruction primarily in Radiation Therapy courses and other related areas given appropiate credentials.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.
What you will be doing
* Teaches in lecture and laboratory settings
* Plan and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectives
* Evaluates and advises students
* Develops curricula
* Recruits students
* Participates in departmental and College affairs
* Serves on committees
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's degree in any field;
Bachelor's degree in any field and Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy;
Valid registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field.
* All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
* Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
* Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
* Ability to work flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and weekend assignments
* Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites
