About the Position

The FIU Institute of Environment invites applications for Postdoctoral Associate positions in research areas spanning freshwater, coastlines, oceans, and conservation. The Institute advances science and technology to address complex environmental challenges at local, national, and global scales.

• Conduct original research and collaborate across disciplines.
• Mentor and interact with graduate students.
• Contribute to competitive research proposals.
• Engage in outreach and public‑facing initiatives.
• Teach courses, when appropriate.

• Completed a PhD in a field related to freshwater, coastal, ocean, or conservation, with a significant interest in developing research expertise in these areas.
