The Librarian position at Ransom Everglades School is a full‑time staff position reporting to the Director of Libraries. This position is based on the Middle School campus and supports the Middle and Upper School libraries.
- Liaise with faculty to create digital and book collections that support the School curriculum.
- Update the current Lib Guides and create new ones as required.
- Assist with teaching library skills and research classes, when required, on both campuses.
- Review the usage of digital resources monthly.
- Prepare periodical library and archives newsletters.
- Update and maintain the libraries’ webpage.
- Assist in the archives as needed.
- Cross‑train in all duties on both campuses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in library and information science.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in library management systems.
- Proficiency with academic databases.
- Previous library experience.
- Educational background (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between campuses.
