Aboutthe Role
The Assistant Principal at Success Academy is an impactful leadership position designed for educators who aspire to cultivate adult development, enhance teaching and learning, and drive excellent student outcomes across the school. This role is centered on effective people management to foster high-quality education for every student.
You will take charge of instructional excellence across various grades and subjects, holding teachers accountable to meet Success Academy’s high standards. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will clearly communicate expectations, rapidly implement improvements through feedback and coaching, and work in close partnership with the Principal to foster a culture of excellence throughout the school. This position serves as a pathway to becoming a principal, equipping you with the skills needed for high‑impact leadership and school culture stewardship, with an expectation of readiness for the principal role within three years.

Success Academy is committed to your professional growth, providing a year‑long leadership training program in New York City during the 2026-27 school year. This intensive training will equip you for your role as Assistant Principal at our Florida school starting in the summer of 2027. Our leadership program has a proven track record of preparing exceptional principals who build thriving educational environments.
The training experience includes:
