The Multidisciplinary Graduate Engineering (MGEN) unit within the College of Engineering invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach selected graduate courses for the multidisciplinary master's degree programs in Miami, Florida.

The MGEN unit aims to produce more effective software engineers capable of addressing the needs of digital society in terms of time, cost, and quality. This involves revolutionizing software design and evolution, viewing software as a systems engineering challenge rather than just coding. • Teach selected graduate courses within the multidisciplinary master's degree programs.
• Prepare lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluate student performance.

The multidisciplinary master's programs in Miami include:

• MS in Information Systems focusing on the intersection of technology and business, emphasizing designing software applications in healthcare, security, privacy, auditing, compliance, business intelligence, and financial accountability. Courses include application engineering, big-data systems, and secure software engineering.

• M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional and/or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
