Job Information

The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University focuses on training socially accountable physicians, scientists, and health professionals dedicated to community service. As an academic and clinical affiliate of Baptist Health and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, the College offers a unique environment for innovation and growth.

The College is looking for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with expertise in the following areas, who will help shape a vibrant academic community, influence program trajectory, and advance medical education:

• Undergraduate Medical Education
• Graduate Medical Education
• Academic Medicine Administration
• Basic Science and Translational Research
• Academic Clinical Practice

• MD, PhD, Doctorate degree, or relevant graduate degree
• Minimum five years of experience in academic/educational leadership or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience within medical education
• Familiarity with LCME and ACGME accreditation standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively
