Opportunity

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a full‑time, 9‑month tenure‑earning assistant professor or tenured associate professor. Expected start date:
December 23, 2026.

• Lead research in RF and Microwave Circuits and Systems, advancing high‑frequency electronics for 5G/6G, IoT, and specialized RF systems for spaceborne and extreme‑environment applications.
• Collaborate with industry partners and across UCF disciplines to strengthen global leadership in electromagnetics and circuit design.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in electrical engineering courses.
• Build and sustain an externally funded research program.

• Doctoral degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong research track record with quality publications.
• For tenured associate professor role: demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service commensurate with that rank.

• Past academic experience with a strong funding record.
• Demonstrated teaching and training experience.

• Curriculum vitae.
• Letter of interest describing research agenda and teaching experience/interest.
• Official transcripts and, if applicable, U.S. degree equivalency evaluations.
