Adjunct Faculty Member
Barry University in Miami Shores is hiring an Adjunct Faculty member to teach journalism and media production courses. We seek professionals with a master's degree or equivalent in Journalism, Media Production, Film, or a related discipline and industry experience. Responsibilities include developing and delivering course content, guiding practical projects, and mentoring students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for journalism, content production, strong technical skills and a collaborative spirit.

Deadline:
Review of applications are on a per semester basis as needed.
In collaboration with the appropriate academic/director, the Adjunct Faculty will:
- Produce a comprehensive syllabus.
- Create, administer and evaluate exams, papers and projects.
- Employ appropriate academic online resources (e.g., Canvas, etc.).
- Schedule at least one office hour per week, per course section, to address students' questions, issues, concerns, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A master's degree or higher in Communication (or closely related area) and 18 graduate hours in Speech/Communication discipline (or closely related)
- Higher Education experience preferred
- Excellent communications skills
