Part–Time Dual Enrollment Credentialed Instructor, Social Sciences – North Campus (Part–Time, Temporary).

This Part–Time Instructor is responsible for teaching Social Science courses. Courses may be taught in an array of modalities: in–person, live virtual, online, and blended.

All candidates must be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet the Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement qualifications, including SACSCOC’s Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s).

• Teach lecture sections
• Evaluate and advise students
• Develop curricula
• Recruit students
• Serve on committees
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, or related behavioral science; or a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
• Degrees from a regionally accredited institution
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community
• Flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
