Associate Teaching Professor – School of Computing and Information Sciences

Florida International University (FIU) invites applications for an Associate Teaching Professor in the School of Computing and Information Sciences within the College of Engineering and Computing. The position is based in Miami, Florida, and involves teaching, research, and service in computing and information science.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction (CEN
  3721), Computer Operating Systems (CGS
  3767), Computing & Network Security (CNT
  4403), Software Engineering 1 (CEN
  4010), Technology in the Global Arena (CGS
  3095), and Computer Architecture (CDA
  3102).
• Developing and updating curricula and mentoring students.
• Engaging in research and service activities related to computing and information science.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and curriculum development at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Strong research record and commitment to service within the academic community.
