What You'll Do

As our Pre-K Teacher, you'll help children build the academic, social, and emotional foundations that prepare them for kindergarten while preserving the joy of childhood. You'll:

• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional development.
• Foster children's independence, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence.
• Observe and document children's learning to guide curriculum planning.
• Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication.
• Create a warm, organized classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and included.
• Lead the MJP graduating class and support the children and families in this monumental milestone.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create meaningful learning experiences across the school.
• Participate in professional learning and continuously refine your teaching practice.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience teaching preschool or Pre-K children.
• Understands child development and kindergarten readiness.
• Values play as the foundation for meaningful learning.
• Builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Creates engaging classroom environments where children are encouraged to explore, collaborate, and think critically.
• Is organized, reflective, and excited to continue growing as an educator.

Qualifications

We welcome educators from a variety of pathways, including:

• Experienced Pre-K or Preschool Teachers
• Certified Early Childhood Educators
• CDA candidates with classroom experience
• Career changers with relevant early childhood education experience

A passion for teaching young children and a commitment to professional growth are just as important as credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $42,000–$62,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer:
