About the School

Scheck Hillel Community School, a large Orthodox Jewish community school located in sunny North Miami Beach, Florida, is a nationally recognized college preparatory and Jewish community day school. It serves over 1300 students in PKT through 12th grade and is a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.

Full time Lower School Judaic Studies/Hebrew Teacher for the  school year.

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Experience teaching Elementary Judaic Studies/Hebrew Language
• Fluent Hebrew
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Excellent classroom management, differentiated instruction, and organization skills
• Proficient with instructional technology
• Team player
• Flexibility and ability to work in a demanding environment where developing positive community relations are critical
• Experience teaching Judaic Studies in an orthodox environment
• Advanced degree and/or Orthodox Rabbinic Ordination preferred
• Experience teaching Tal Am and Educator certification is a plus
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
