Miami Children's Museum is looking for a new Museum Educator to join their team!

Miami Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution, which meets the needs of all children in our multicultural community. The Museum offers interactive exhibits, programs and learning materials related to arts, culture and our community. Miami Children’s Museum encourages visitors of all ages to play, learn, imagine and create together.

• Utilize hands‑on teaching methods to interpret materials and exhibits for drop‑in gallery activities.
• Lead group tours through the galleries.
• Promote fun, positive visitor experience.
• Ensure safety in the galleries.
• Maintain exhibit supplies and cleanliness.
• Ensure guests wearing masks and practicing social distancing in the Museum.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience working with children age birth to grade five.
• Ability to manage large groups of children at once.
• Flexible, patient, and good rapport with the public.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Previous “teaching” experience is preferred.
