Primary Montessori Lead Teacher

Job Description Village Montessori is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Montessori Guide to lead a mixed-age (3–6) classroom. We are a warm, collaborative community dedicated to authentic Montessori practice, independence, and joyful learning. Our ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and deeply committed to the Montessori philosophy.

• Lead a fully implemented Montessori Primary classroom (ages 3–6)
• Present lessons in Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Cultural Studies
• Foster independence, concentration and grace and courtesy
• Observe, assess, and document student progress
• Maintain a beautiful, orderly, and engaging prepared environment
• Build strong, professional partnerships with families
• Collaborate with faculty and administration

• AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited Primary Montessori credential (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• 2+ years experience in a Montessori Primary classroom (Preferred)
• Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to professionalism and ongoing growth
