When students struggle, most schools lower the bar. You take a different approach.

Your conviction is that young children can accomplish far more than conventional classrooms demand, and you've led teams that deliver measurable proof. You understand that accountability, motivation, and elevated standards transform outcomes in ways no additional worksheet can match.

Alpha dedicates just two morning hours to academics, delivered through adaptive learning technology. This structure allows you to concentrate on what drives lasting impact: coaching students toward independent learning and developing the Guides who enable that transformation. You will take ownership of outcomes for a K-3 cohort, leveraging data, observation, and targeted coaching to ensure every child enjoys school, progresses at twice the typical rate, and builds outstanding life skills.

This position is neither an instructional coaching role nor a principal position. Your days won't disappear into meetings or administrative tasks. Instead, you'll work inside classrooms, evaluating Guide and student performance, leading workshops on focus, resilience, communication, and accountability, and coaching children and adults toward concrete improvement.

Your impact will extend beyond your immediate cohort. You'll capture effective practices, create playbooks that elevate school-wide standards, and influence how Alpha cultivates its next generation of Guides. If building people, scaling excellence, and demonstrating that exceptional results follow high expectations energizes you, we want to connect.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Use performance data, classroom observation, and direct feedback to coach Guides and students toward measurable improvement.
  • Design and deliver compelling workshops for K-3 students covering communication, collaboration, resilience, focus, accountability, and additional life skills.
  • Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching that links student motivation with academic independence and growth.
  • Develop and iterate on repeatable coaching playbooks that elevate Guide team performance.
  • Mentor and train Guides while demonstrating exceptional facilitation and coaching practices daily.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Teaching traditional lessons or presenting academic content directly; core academics are managed by adaptive technology.
  • Relying on punishment for behavior management or reducing expectations when students face challenges.
  • Operating from an office rather than engaging directly with Guides and students each day.
  • Taking responsibility for campus operations, budget oversight, or parent communication; your priority is people development and outcome improvement.
  • Adhering to traditional elementary school methods simply because "that's the way it's always been."
