Physical Education Teacher Assistant – St. Agatha Elementary Catholic School

St. Agatha Elementary Catholic School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida has an opening for a Full-Time P.E. Teacher Assistant for the  school year. The Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher Assistant supports the P.E. teacher in planning, organizing, and supervising physical education activities. The assistant helps create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment that encourages students to participate in physical fitness, sports, and recreational activities.

The candidate must be supportive and respectful of and perform all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church and the Archdiocese of Miami.

Job Schedule:

7:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m., Monday – Friday.

• Must have collaborative skills.
• Ability to work well with students of diverse ages and abilities.
• Ability to supervise and engage students effectively.
• Excellent presentation skills with skills in use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, & PowerPoint preferred.
• Must have excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice and correct spelling and grammar.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
