We introduce children to architecture and design while developing creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and curiosity. Through hands-on projects, students are encouraged to imagine, design, build, and bring their ideas to life.

Architecture & Design Teaching Assistant
role based in Miami, FL.
The Teaching Assistant will work closely with arKIDect instructors during architecture and design classes for children. Responsibilities include assisting students with hands-on projects, model making, drawing, 3D design and fabrication activities, preparing classroom materials, and helping with classroom setup and clean-up.
The Teaching Assistant will also encourage students throughout the creative process, help maintain a positive and organized learning environment, and assist with workshops, camps, exhibitions, and special events as needed.
Qualifications- Background in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Art, Design, Education, or a related field
- Enjoys working with children in a creative, hands-on environment
- Friendly, patient, responsible, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable assisting children with creative projects and activities
- Organized and able to follow instructions while taking initiative
- Experience working, volunteering, tutoring, or mentoring children is preferred but not required
- College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Must be available to work on-site in Miami, FL
