The Public Policy and Administration Department is currently seeking a Temporary Social Media Outreach Coordinator to join their team of professionals.
Duties Include- Plans, drafts, and schedules departmental content across social media, websites, newsletters, and advertising campaigns that advance recruitment and outreach objectives.
- Transforms departmental updates and messaging into engaging, accessible digital content for diverse audiences.
- Maintains departmental websites and online platforms to ensure information remains current, accurate, and user-friendly.
- Designs and updates promotional materials, including flyers, graphics, brochures, presentations, and recruitment collateral.
- Tracks, compiles, and reports digital media analytics in partnership with the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Marketing and Communication Team.
- Recommends strategies to strengthen departmental visibility, audience engagement, recruitment efforts, and public outreach.
- Gathers and organize stories, images, and key information from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders for use in departmental communications.
- Perform other communications, marketing, outreach, and related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in related field; OR six (6) years of experience in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
