City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and tutoring in core subjects to help students meet academic goals
• Build positive, mentoring relationships with students to support social-emotional development
• Track and report student progress using school and City Year tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to plan interventions and coordinate support
• Lead or assist with after-school programs, enrichment activities, and school events
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Model City Year's values of service, equity, and inclusion in daily interactions
• Engage families and community partners to support student success
