Aterim, a leading global provider of umbrella services for employee and contractor hosting, is hiring for an ATR Training Centre Instructor on permanent employment or freelance contract to be based in Miami, USA :
- Location: Miami, USA
- Contract Type: Full-time employment, or Freelance

- Provide ground school training in accordance with the Training Center’s approved manuals and FAA procedures, or in compliance with customer airline training programs approved by their local Civil Aviation Authorities.
- Deliver simulator training sessions consistent with Training Center standards or specific customer and Authority-approved training requirements.
- Ensure rigorous management and accuracy of all flight training documentation in line with the Training Center’s procedures and the applicable Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
- Conduct Type Rating, Recurrent, and Requalification Training for ATR flight crews, ensuring compliance with FAA and ATR operational standards.
- Monitor trainees’ progress, assess their performance, and provide constructive feedback to enhance knowledge, skills, and flight safety awareness.
- Support the continuous improvement of ATR flight training programs through feedback and participation in instructional updates or quality reviews.
- Promote a safety-first culture and maintain a professional training environment consistent with company values and regulatory expectations.
- Strong coaching and training orientation with a passion for education.
- Excellent communication and pedagogical skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse technical backgrounds and cultural contexts.
- Highly organized and meticulous in course preparation and delivery.
- Team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Confident in public speaking and managing classroom dynamics.
- Holder of a valid FAA TCI license.
- Previous instructor’s experience as a TCI, or TRI, preferably in simulator training environment.
- Previous experience delivering technical training (classroom and/or practical) highly desirable.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – minimum ICAO Level 5.
- Comfortable with international travel and working in multicultural environments.
