This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It includes manufacturing and supply chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The position will directly impact safe and repeatable space flight and requires a commitment to safety and detailed attention.

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development, and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. The role is hands‑on and requires strong communication, organization, planning, and inventory skills.

We are seeking someone with technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with engineers to plan and execute transportation operations.
  • Verify that all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Efficiently and safely carry out loading and offloading of large loads, including lifting, installing, rigging, and weighing.
  • Execute transport operations with a safety‑oriented approach, identifying and eliminating potential injuries and accidents.
  • Support assembly, disassembly, and configuration of Modular Trailers and SPMT (Scheuerle, KAMAG) in any required configuration.
  • Perform pre‑mission dry runs to ensure functionality and operational readiness of transportation equipment.
  • Operate transport and handling equipment as necessary (heavy transporters, tractor units, MHE).
Qualifications
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion.
  • May need to work in areas that expose to fumes, dust, chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, or a hearing conservation program.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and management/customer decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication.
  • Strong math and analytical skills to solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 2‑4+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Associate’s degree or high‑school diploma.
  • Experience lifting, rigging, and securing large and heavy loads.
  • Well versed in reading and understanding engineering drawings and documentation to ensure that loads and transport comply with transport plans.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired
  • 3‑5+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Associate’s degree or high‑school diploma.
  • Experience operating large transport equipment such as SPMTs, large tugs/trailers, and AGVs.
  • Experience lifting, rigging, and securing large and heavy loads.
  • Well versed in reading and understanding engineering drawings and documentation to ensure that loads, loading methods, load securing, and load transport, comply with transport plans.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
