Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service‑related problems, demonstrate the uses and advantages of products, and work closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC, and research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action, and follow up with customers.
May be responsible for a designated region.

Orlando, Florida area.
Salary Range: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour.

- Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
- Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures and keep performance and maintenance records.
- Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
- Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
- Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations.
- May participate in installation planning phase.
- Maintain customer goodwill through effective communication of services rendered, arrival times, and issues, and by presenting a positive attitude and proper business appearance.
- Effectively manage company assets, including vehicle, computer, inventory, test equipment, and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company documents and programs related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
- Meet occasional overnight travel requirements.
- Maintain all customer‑site access requirements, including credentialing such as COVID‑19 and annual influenza vaccinations.
- Participate in any reasonable work activities assigned by management.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field‑based repair position.
- Computer skills are essential; familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain credit approval for a Corporate Credit card.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent thinking.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and bend, push, and perform related tasks.
- Manual dexterity.
- Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, including weekends, holidays, and after‑hours.
- Occasional overnight travel.
- Must maintain all access requirements to customer sites, including active compliance with credentialing (may include COVID‑19 and annual influenza vaccinations).
