BIM Manager – Electrical Construction – Florida

G&E Partners is partnered with a leading electrical subcontractor in Florida that is continuing to expand its preconstruction and project delivery teams due to a strong pipeline of secured work across the commercial and mission‑critical sectors.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM coordination, model management, and VDC delivery across multiple large‑scale electrical construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor where BIM plays a critical role in project delivery, working closely with project management, field operations, preconstruction, and clients on some of Florida’s most complex electrical projects.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience within electrical construction, with 3+ years leading BIM/VDC teams or projects
  • Previous experience working for an electrical subcontractor is strongly preferred
  • Local to Florida, or open to relocating
  • Strong experience delivering BIM coordination on large-scale commercial, healthcare, mission critical/data centre, education, industrial, aviation, hospitality, or mixed-use projects
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD MEP
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, and raceway installations
  • Ability to lead BIM standards, workflows, quality control, and model management across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor BIM Coordinators and work collaboratively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and field teams.
Why this role is different:
  • You’ll be joining one of Florida’s leading electrical contractors with a substantial backlog of secured work and continued investment in technology and innovation.
  • The BIM department is viewed as a key function within the business, meaning you’ll have a genuine influence over project delivery from preconstruction through installation and project closeout.
  • You’ll work on technically challenging projects alongside experienced operational leaders while helping shape BIM standards, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
What’s On

Offer:
  • Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Annual bonus opportunities
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Long‑term pipeline of landmark electrical construction projects
  • Collaborative culture with significant investment in technology, training, and professional development
