Electrician Officers

Working within the engine department, under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the electrical team oversees the operation and maintenance of the electrical plants and associated systems. With a fleet as technologically advanced as ours, this team is busy ensuring everything, from the navigation systems to the elevators, is working properly and safely at all times.

Hiring Requirements:

• Must possess the following Licenses / Training / Certificates /
  
  Experience:
• Education as Electrical, Electronic, or Power Engineer
• Basic Safety Training in accordance with the STCW – Convention as amended 1995
• Advance Fire Fighting Training Course in accordance with the STCW – Convention as amended 1995
• Computer Literacy; familiar with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Preferred Education and/or experience from:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent 4-year university degree preferred)

Language required:
English.
