Civil Engineer - Geotechnical Design Specialist

General Description:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in geotechnical design to join our growing team. This role focuses on infrastructure projects, particularly tunnels and roadway systems, and offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural, technical, and collaborative environment.

• Perform geotechnical analyses and provide recommendations for the design of foundations, slope stability, retaining walls, and other geotechnical elements in roadway projects.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, and Open Roads.
• Participate in site reconnaissance and field visits as required.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, including results, interpretations, and recommendations based on field data and laboratory testing.
• Execute geotechnical calculations and modeling using specialized software.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into the overall project design.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience with FDOT or TxDOT projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and construction quantity estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, and Open Roads.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and teamwork skills.
