COMPANY Tech Services, a subsidiary of COMPANY Tech Inc., is entering a strategic phase of expansion with the development of its FAA Part 145 Repair Station dedicated to aircraft engine maintenance. To support this growth, we are seeking a highly qualified Chief Inspector to oversee all inspection and quality operations and contribute to the advancement of our repair station capabilities and certifications.
PositionSummary
The Chief Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, inspection, documentation, and Return-to-Service activities comply with FAA regulations, company manuals (RSM/QCM), and industry quality standards. This position plays a central role in the development and expansion of the repair station, including capability list enhancement and acquisition of additional certifications (EASA and other authorities).
Key Responsibilities- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections for aircraft engine components and modules.
- Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations, company procedures, and applicable technical documentation.
- Approve service releases and verify all documentation required for airworthiness.
- Develop, revise, and maintain inspection procedures, training materials, and technical workflows.
- Lead internal and external audits, including FAA, EASA, and customer regulatory evaluations.
- Support the expansion of the repair station’s capability list and involvement in certification projects.
- Manage inspection documentation, records, and traceability in accordance with FAA, OEM, and customer requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for inspectors and quality personnel.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) —
preferred - 5–10 years of experience in a Part 145 Repair Station (engine experience strongly preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of FAR Part 145, AD/SB requirements, traceability standards, and technical publications
- Demonstrated experience in leading inspection or quality teams
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a compliance-focused mindset
- Ability to meet FAA/DOT regulatory and background requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Experience with EASA Part 145 or international certifications
- Familiarity with AS9110 or similar quality systems
- Proficiency with MRO/repair station digital systems (e.g., Quantum, Win Air)
