Research Engineer

We are partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm seeking a Research Engineer to help design and build the data and machine learning platforms that support next-generation research and trading initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, data engineering, and quantitative research. The successful candidate will work closely with researchers and engineers to develop systems that enable the discovery, ingestion, processing, and modelling of complex and high-dimensional datasets used to generate trading signals and investment insights.

The position involves building scalable data pipelines that support both structured and unstructured datasets, developing tooling that enables researchers to efficiently experiment with new data sources, and designing infrastructure that supports model development, evaluation, and deployment. In addition to platform development, the engineer will contribute directly to machine learning modelling, working alongside researchers to develop, test, and refine predictive models and feature engineering approaches.
