We are seeking an Engineer IV for our team in Jacksonville, FL. The Engineer IV will lead and manage the engineering design team, coordinating with contractors and vendors to successfully complete projects from concept through delivery, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities- Lead/manage the planning, design, and production of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with goals, schedules, and budget.
- Use team management skills to lead the design group during the conceptual phase of product development following CPH and client standards and templates.
- Direct the development of an action plan and estimate requirements for resources, labor, materials, and time needed to complete projects.
- Develop technical specifications, evaluate shop drawings, and oversee construction administration duties as the Engineer of Record.
- Assess vendors for competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status.
- Monitor progress of development projects and compare actual costs with estimates.
- Work with design group to modify plans as appropriate if problems arise.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing progress and costs for next‑level management.
- Review and study existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Periodically travel to perform business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits.
- Cooperate with project engineers from other plants to share best practices and support in consolidating construction plans across all disciplines and coordinating submissions to regulatory agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar platforms.
- Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
- Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Strict adherence to deadlines.
- Knowledge of codes, design, and construction practices.
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑conscious, reliable, and self‑motivated.
- B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a P.E. license in the state of Florida (additional state licensure through reciprocity is a plus).
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm.
- Proficiency in REVIT is required;
AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Suite experience is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Dependent upon experience.
