We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our Landing Gear Service facility in Medley, Florida. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of aircraft components undergoing maintenance and repair.

- Perform detailed inspections, failure analysis, and root cause investigations to determine the extent of required maintenance
- Conduct thorough technical analyses of aircraft components to identify issues and develop comprehensive repair and overhaul solutions
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to create and implement innovative solutions for component improvement and optimization
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
- Keep abreast of industry changes, regulatory updates, and technological advancements to maintain compliance and improve processes
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing findings, recommendations, and solutions for each component under review
- Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible for audits and inspections
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all engineering processes and procedures meet or exceed the highest industry standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall component shop efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, inspectors, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination in the execution of MRO activities
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical expertise and support as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MROs
- Solid understanding of aviation regulations, such as FAA or EASA requirements
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools for analysis and design, such as Solidworks and Labview
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
