CAD-Capable Draftsman

Ready to take ownership of a high-impact engineering transformation? We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven CAD Draftsman to lead a critical drawing standardization and documentation initiative. This role is central to strengthening engineering accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Evaluate and clean up legacy, outdated, or incomplete drawings
• Create and update precise 2D/3D CAD drawings to modern engineering standards
• Standardize title blocks, revision control, tolerances, GD&T, and material/finish specs
• Ensure alignment with as-built configurations, testing requirements, and regulatory documentation
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and configuration management teams
• Build a structured, revision-controlled digital drawing system

• Deliver complete, accurate, and controlled engineering drawings
• Restore full traceability between parts, tests, approvals, and documentation

• Reduce rework and engineering delays
• Accelerate part approvals, repairs, and MRO activity

• Updated and newly created CAD drawings for key part families
• A clean, organized, fully auditable drawing repository

• Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD
• Solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Experience with revision control and document management systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Must be based in Miami, FL
