Job Summary

The Energy Efficiency Analyst will monitor vessel operational performance, establish and communicate standardized key performance indicators, and support annual fuel and emissions reporting for the eight vessels in the Windstar Fleet, supporting the Technical Operations team. The role is an integral part of Fleet Operations, including reporting, analytics, supporting strategic and sustainability initiatives, and maintaining compliance with maritime regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Process and record voyage consumption data, including fuel and water consumption and production.
  • Develop and maintain vessel operational performance reports and set vessel KPIs.
  • Support annual fuel consumption and emissions regulatory reporting for IMO, EU MRV, and Fuel EU Maritime.
  • Support development of short‑ and long‑term data‑driven energy efficiency and decarbonization strategies.
  • Monitor and validate performance of energy efficiency capital projects.
  • Prepare business cases for energy efficiency projects, including investment returns and regulatory impacts.
  • Communicate and collaborate with shipboard officers and shoreside leadership on energy optimization and performance trends.
  • Ensure continuous and consistent data flow from vessels and sustain data quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel (formulas), Smartsheet, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced operational environment.
