Electrical Engineer Position Summary

This Electrical Engineer will perform engineering assignments with a focus on electronic circuits and systems design, and entry‑level software design.

• Design PC Boards and Flexible Circuit Boards for use in the repair of surgical devices using computer‑based design tools.
• Measure and document electrical and physical aspects of electronic parts.
• Measure and characterize electrical operation of circuits and systems using electrical test equipment.
• Analyze and identify communication protocols used in circuits and systems using oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and other test equipment.
• Design equivalent circuits to emulate the function and operation of existing electronic components and circuits.
• Write entry‑level software to emulate the function and operation of existing electronic components and circuits.
• Design, program, and test fixtures for electronic assemblies.
• Identify and source electronic components.
• Work with vendors to fabricate PCB, Flexible Circuits, electrical cables, and miscellaneous electronic assemblies.
• Build, test, and debug prototype electronic assemblies.
• Create and maintain design and process documentation.
• Conduct failure analysis and identify critical components.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in a regulated industry; medical devices preferred.
• Digital and analog electronic circuit design experience with emphasis on embedded microcontroller/microprocessor systems; medical device industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various electronic communication protocols.
• Experience in computer‑aided PCB design;
  Altium Designer strongly preferred.
• Entry‑level programming experience at the micro‑computer level.
• Computer skills – working experience with all Microsoft Office applications; previous experience with Oracle preferred.
• Aptitude for hands‑on tasks.

Pay range for this opportunity is $70,000‑95,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
