Position SummaryAs an ERP Business Process Manager, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, testing, controlling, and optimizing the operational processes and procedures within Airbus US. You will also be responsible for the material management domain and for the quality & integrity of business data (consistency of reliable, relevant, and usable data). You will lead process excellence through continuous improvement projects and collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows.
This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with organizational processes.
- Management of Business Processes: 30% – design, document, test, control, and optimize operational processes and procedures within Airbus US; responsible for the material management domain and for the quality & integrity of business data.
- Process Control and Business Data Accuracy: 40% – monitor and ensure accurate implementation of cross‑functional business processes; review master data accuracy, identify root causes of discrepancies, and take corrective and preventive actions; deliver accurate master data in a timely manner to process owners and internal customers; manage off nominal cases in FAL by performing transactions in the background at SAP and SCADA systems.
- Material Management and Master Data: 30% – lead the material creation process and ensure new materials are completed on time; perform risk assessments and prepare data analytics reports for process owners.
- Education: Required – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience. Optional – Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Technical Systems Proficiency:
- At least six years of experience with SAP ERP System. Strong knowledge of the Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Quality Management (QM) modules. Basic knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
- Proficient in Excel with experience in creating automated reports.
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, and able to quickly master new tools including Jira, SCADA, and Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of process engineering, process simulations, and process‑related standards. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- SAP Certification in Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
- Experience:
- Minimum six years of experience in business process management in a manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of the business processes for manufacturing & testing engineering, production planning, manufacturing & testing execution, quality management, procurement, logistics, and material management.
- Experience in process control and data analytics.
- Experience in the aerospace industry will be considered a plus.
