Cloud Engineer; AWS Security Clearance

Cloud Engineer (AWS) – Full‑time, Experienced, Information Technology

• Design solutions that provide maximum flexibility and scalability while meeting all required security controls.
• Support the development of all required documentation to back engineering, security, and operational processes.
• Perform business and technical alternative analysis for all aspects of the solution to aid customer decision‑making.
• Facilitate the transition of the solution to operations, ensuring ongoing compliance with anticipated operating boundaries.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least four (4–7) years of professional IT experience supporting federal government agencies.
• Four or more years designing, implementing, and/or supporting highly distributed applications, demonstrating strong architectural skills for availability and reliability.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (required) or other cloud services, reinforced with architectural design experience.
• Experience designing and delivering large‑scale solutions that have progressed to production.
• Familiarity with lift‑and‑shift migrations and migration methodologies for cloud migration.
• Experience in cloud computing, networking, storage, and identity management; AWS Certification or Cloud Architect Certification (or the desire to obtain certification) is preferred.
