Role OverviewWe are seeking an IDG Technician in a full‑time position that will focus on the maintenance of power generation components in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) instructions. Reporting to the Director of Component Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of aircraft electrical power generation systems.
Eligibility RequirementOnly U.S. citizens or permanent residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities- Accomplish IDG/Generator repairs and/or alterations in accordance with parts 43 and 145 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble power generation components.
- Utilize technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation to perform maintenance tasks.
- Identify component defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
- High school diploma required; technical or trade school preferred.
- Minimum ten years of experience in aviation components.
- A & P certified preferred, capable of performing full maintenance i.a.w. CMM.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation in English.
- Knowledge of balancing rotors preferred.
- Basic knowledge of handling electrical measuring equipment.
