SENIOR ESTIMATOR – HVAC CONSTRUCTION

We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead high-impact preconstruction efforts for complex, large-scale HVAC and mechanical projects valued between $10M–$100M+. You’ll partner with executives, operations, and project teams to craft accurate, competitive estimates that drive profitability and success.

• Lead estimating strategy for large mechanical and HVAC pursuits.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to confirm project scope.
• Drive value engineering and identify innovative cost‑saving solutions.
• Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering team development and consistency.
• Present estimates and bid strategies to leadership and clients with confidence.

You’ll work with our leadership to develop the financial and strategic foundation for our biggest projects—balancing precision with creativity to ensure every pursuit positions KAR & Larrabee for success.

• 10+ years of progressive mechanical estimating experience on $20M+ projects.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in Trimble, Accubid, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
