Electrical Design Engineer EIT (Commercial Projects)
Job DetailsSalary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
Responsibilities- Performs 3D Revit and 2D CAD work. Performs involved and detailed design requirements.
- Completes project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and application, correspondence, survey, code studies, and construction administration, as necessary.
- Senior level employees interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations and lead the project during design and construction.
- Attention to detail, and high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player with people skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
- EIT Desired.
- Proficient in Revit Software, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
- Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
- Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
