We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of large-scale environmental restoration, flood risk protection and stormwater infrastructure projects.
This role requires deep technical expertise, complex problem‑solving skills, the ability to evaluate and design solutions to challenging problems or new requirements, strong project management capabilities, and the capacity to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has supported or led civil/site engineering aspects of a variety of projects, including Florida Everglades restoration projects, pump stations, drainage canals, reservoirs, stormwater treatment areas, stormwater storage facilities, and integrated water resource systems.

Eligibility and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Professional engineering (PE) license.
7 years of related experience.
Professional engineering (PE) license.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency of travel depends on specific duties and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and AbilitiesExpert knowledge of engineering principles of design.
Proficiency with civil engineering software, including hydrology/hydraulics design software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM tools and design analysis programs.
Expert knowledge with civil engineering codes, standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
