Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roadway, drainage, and general civil works.
• Coordinate with internal teams (geotechnical, structural, hydraulic) to ensure consistency and integration of designs.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to support construction activities, assess field conditions, and document findings.
• Assist in reviewing plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Support project managers with coordination tasks, scheduling, and follow-up actions.
• Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Open Road to support design and

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in transportation or infrastructure.
• Experience with FDOT or similar DOT projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Open Road.
• EIT certification required; working toward PE license is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in fieldwork and site inspections as needed.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English;
  Spanish is a plus.
