The Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on long, medium and short range maintenance division projects.

• Liaison with customer for the AAR Airline Maintenance Divisions concerning maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Evaluate customer work requirement and prepare bid.
• Plan and schedule the maintenance workload based on availability of aircraft, manpower, parts and priority of the repair or alteration to be accomplished.
• Prepares and distributes maintenance workload packages.
• Responsible for forecasting and planning needs to maintain proper inventory levels, inventory mix, and overall efficiency of the program.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Education / Experience:
  
  Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four‑year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. The environmental characteristic for this position is an office setting.

Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
