Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused BIM Designer to support the development and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) systems for building projects.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering and design teams to develop accurate BIM models, coordinate systems across multiple disciplines, identify potential design conflicts, and support efficient project execution.

The ideal candidate brings strong BIM technical skills, a solid understanding of multidisciplinary coordination, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working collaboratively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection systems.
• Coordinate BIM models across disciplines to support accurate system integration.
• Perform clash detection and assist teams in identifying and resolving design conflicts.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and design professionals to improve system layouts and coordination.
• Establish and maintain BIM templates, standards, and project workflows.
• Prepare accurate drawings and other model-based project deliverables.
• Verify that BIM work aligns with established project standards, applicable codes, and best practices.
• Contribute to improvements in BIM processes, workflows, and overall design efficiency.
• Provide additional project support as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous BIM design experience supporting MEP and Fire Protection systems.
• Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit or similar platforms.
• Experience with clash detection tools and coordination processes.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination and BIM workflows.
• Ability to create and maintain BIM templates and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet project deadlines.
