Seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to join our team in Miami for a full-time, Monday through Friday role. This role focuses on turning rough sketches into clear, complete technical plans, checking dimensions, and applying basic engineering mathematics using AutoCAD and Inventor software. On-the-job training is provided, though prior knowledge of Inventor is a major plus!
salary: $42,000 - $59,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Prepares clear, complete, and accurate technical drawings and plans from rough sketches, detailed notes, or instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Create final drawings, sketches, and flat pattern layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Check part dimensions, specify materials, and determine how components fit together within a project or structure.
- Make necessary adjustments or design updates to meet engineering requirements.
- Apply knowledge of machinery, basic engineering principles, mathematics, and building materials to complete designs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Familiarity or experience with AutoCAD and Inventor preferred.
- Basic understanding of engineering practices, mathematics, and physical materials.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to interpret rough sketches or technical notes.
