Role Description

The Electrical Engineering Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Miami, FL. This role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting frequency management devices such as crystals and oscillators under the guidance of engineering staff. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining electronic test equipment, performing soldering and wiring tasks, and assisting with prototype builds and product validations. The technician documents test results, supports root cause analysis for product issues, and collaborates with engineers and production personnel to ensure product quality and reliability.

The role also includes following safety standards, maintaining an organized work area, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering concepts and electricity, with the ability to apply theory to practical circuit and device work.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic assemblies, identifying faults, and implementing effective corrections.
  • Hands‑on skills in soldering and basic electronic assembly, including working with PCBs, connectors, and small components.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, frequency counters) for diagnostics and measurements.
  • Relevant technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Experience in frequency control products or electronic manufacturing is a plus.
