General Manager

Overview

The General Manager for our Casino products is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall performance, growth, and profitability of Catena Media’s Casino products. This role owns the P&L for  and , leads cross-functional squads, and drives both near-term performance and long-term strategic value creation across content, SEO, product, commercial, and brand initiatives.

• Full P&L ownership for the Casino Fans portfolio, including revenue growth, cost control, and EBITDA performance.
• Set and execute a clear strategic roadmap balancing short-term performance delivery with long-term brand and product growth.
• Drive execution discipline through OKRs, operating cadence, performance tracking, and accountability.
• Act as the primary owner and decision-maker for PlayUSA and Gaming Today, with an ownership mindset.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute growth initiatives, including new content verticals, monetization models, and product-led diversification.
• Ensure strong collaboration with Commercial, Product, CRO, and central teams to maximize impact.
• Provide clear, data-driven reporting and insights to executive leadership.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations to inform strategy and risk management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, cross-functional squad spanning SEO, content, and product, fostering strong engagement and delivery.
• Support leaders and individual contributors through coaching, feedback, and capability development, without direct performance ownership.
• Partner with HR and leadership to support hiring, development, and succession planning in line with portfolio needs.

• Strategic prioritization across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
• Strong execution leadership with a track record of turning strategy into results.
• Ownership mentality with full accountability for outcomes.
• Deep domain mastery of online casino, sweepstakes, and affiliate monetization models.
• Commercial and operational acumen, including comfort owning a P&L and forecasting performance.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• 7+ years of leadership experience in digital media, affiliate marketing, or online gaming.
• Demonstrated success managing P&L ownership for large-scale digital products or portfolios.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of SEO, content-led growth, and performance marketing ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

This role will initially be carried out on a fully remote basis and will transition to a hybrid working model once our Miami hub is up and running.

• This position is 100% remote. Must be available during regular business hours in your evening and/or weekend work on occasion. Must possess a stable, high-speed internet and working cellular telephone. Must be able to routinely perform indoor work with minimum noise levels. Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on their own or as part of a team.
  
  Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence, naturally or electronically and may include adaptive aids. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
  
  Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

• Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 8 hours per day. At times, occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities, as may be occasionally asked to travel to sites or events.
  
  Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
