Position Details
Title: Overnight Valet Parking Attendant
Location: Various Locations in Miami Beach, Surfside, and Bal Harbour
Schedule: Overnight Shifts (days will vary)
Pay Rate: $15/hour - $17/hour plus cash tips

The Valet Attendant ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while delivering service that exceeds customer expectations. The attendant responds quickly to requests and provides caring interactions with all guests at the assigned location. The role works closely with fellow team members, the Operation Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure quality and safety standards are met at all times, as well as adherence to state and local laws.
Key Responsibilities- Mobilize and coordinate the beginning‑to‑end valet process: retrieve keys, retrieve vehicles for waiting guests, load guest vehicles, issue tickets, and use electronic devices to enter customer information.
- Foster customer success, happiness, and retention by building rapport, addressing inquiries, and providing directions.
- Act as a courteous brand ambassador by interfacing with guests, opening doors, and unloading vehicles.
- Deploy vehicle safety and security procedures: direct traffic, barricade positions, park in applicable spaces, inspect for damage, and report incidents and claims to the designated leadership.
- Handle financial operations: request and collect relevant fees, reconcile end‑of‑shift revenue.
- Meet and greet guests upon arrival; open doors and assist with unloading when necessary.
- Retrieve keys, issue tickets, or enter customer information using an electronic device.
- Park vehicles in appropriate spaces, ensuring safe and proper operation.
- Inspect vehicles for preexisting damage and accurately record make, model, and location.
- Retrieve vehicles for waiting guests and assist with luggage or personal items.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond courteously to inquiries, give directions to the nearest highway or destination.
- Direct traffic, position barricades, and arrange towing service when necessary.
- Report incidents or claims immediately to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
- Assist in reconciling revenue against ticket distribution when necessary.
- Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests.
- Acceptable driving record and motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions in fast‑paced environments.
- Ability to operate guest vehicles requiring normal coordination, including eye‑hand and hand‑foot coordination.
- Ability to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended periods, sometimes for the entire shift.
- Previous valet experience preferred.
